Walking is the simplest and most accessible exercise we can do. Its benefits range from physically boosting your immune system, preventing arthritis, diabetes, obesity, to mentally reducing anxiety, loneliness, and preventing memory loss.
AARP describes walking as the greatest addition to your daily routine to boost your health. How does WaBu work? Simple four steps:
1) To start: Sign up with PIN number.
2) To walk: Type in origin, destination or length of the walk, and a brief description of the walk.
3) To Send: Schedule the time of your walk and send it to your network. Your network can be a city, individual community, members of a club, etc.
4) To meet your walking buddy: A group message is automatically created to arrange the meet up between those who clicked "join" on your walk request.
WaBu is protected by a PIN number upon sign up. If you're from NYC, please use PIN code 5001. If you're from another city or would like to create an exclusive network for your community, please contact us at info@wabu.co for more details.
